The City of Ottawa is pleased to introduce a new line of information on its utility billing statements. Starting in mid- January, the City bill will show gallons of water used. This line will be in addition to the units, or 100 cubic feet measurement that has been used for many years. This will have no effect on the cost of water; however, the additional information is being included in compliance with the Kansas Water Office to help customers better understand how much water is being consumed.
