Code Enforcement Complaint

Complaint Processing:

  1. Complaint form completed and submitted.
  2. Complaint field checked by staff.
  3. Letter written to owner identifying code violation. The owner is often given a courtesy notice of ten days to removed violation.
  4. Property re-inspected by staff and if violation still exists, certified letter requiring compliance within ten days is mailed.
  5. Property re-inspected by staff and if violation still exists, ticket written and/or violation contracted to be removed.
